I was going through all my old paper and I found some interesting stuff I wrote in high school for projects and stuff.
"This has helped me realize how for me to find a balance. This book has helped me to deal with the issue of balance."
"..no matter what happens God is always in control."
"God works in many ways if we just look for him. This has helped me to see God working in ways I didn't expect. It has helped me get a bigger picture of God."
God Bless

The Command
God has a plan for every one, This really hit home for me. I always want to do something else, wish I was some one else wish I could be more. I guess this is good for personal building always wanting to be better, wanting to grow closer to God, but it has it's down falls like everything when followed instead of God. You never feel satisfied, you always wish for more, you always see your faults. I guess where God has me now is in the thought that, I need to know that in my life whatever happens or what ever I wish for, that no matter what, God has an awesome plan for me and nothing except rejecting him can change that.

Finished a childhood dream
I've always had the wondering of what it was like to live with out a home. What it is like to trust God for your every need. What it is like to have to trust Jesus for everything, having nothing else to lean on. I believe I have had a really good taste of that at the end of this year.
Thank you God for being there for me. Thank you for answering my prayers, and giving me everything I need. I pray that people in need would trust in you. Thank you. Amen

Days like these
It's day's like these that I feel I don't fit in. It feels like I'm left all alone here on this God forsaken earth. It is day's like these I feel I have nothing else to give you God. It feels like there is no place for me here.
And maybe that's just it I am changed so I don't fit in. Giving a craving for something so much more. There is nothing else that I can give it is all yours God. There is no place for God's anointed except in his hands. This earth is not God forsaken but people have forsaken God down here.
Oh God I cry for you. Come help me here oh God. Bless all those around me, fulfill all their needs. I pray that they would have a deep craving for you. They would cry out to you and you would answer them. Oh God help us weak humans.

the Line Between the Two
Where is this guiding force that is supposed to lead me on?
Where is this answer that I am looking for?
Why do I keep looking?
Refusing to take anything fake?
Refusing guidance by half influence?
Nothing here can really influence
Oh God show me the real.
Show me you.
Where is this answer that I am looking for?
Why do I keep looking?
Refusing to take anything fake?
Refusing guidance by half influence?
Nothing here can really influence

My Trick for Daily Bible Readings
If you want to read your bible every day, if you want to feel your daily reading throughout the day you are going to have to need your daily bible reading to survive the day.
The problem in our post modern society is that we believe that we got everything that we need, and as human history has shown we can believe allot of lies. Read some of my previous blogs if you think you got everything you need from this world.
I guess what I'm trying to get across is that we are insignificant and incompetent, and nothing this post modern world can offer that can change this, all it offers are blindness and ignorance.
This is a hopeless condition with out God. From what we read in the bible there is only one defense that is going to save me from eternal destruction and that is Jesus. So that is the only defense I am going to use against the hopelessness of our condition. My only defense against all the world throws at me is Jesus.
Now what does this have to do with daily bible reading well just try a day without your self defense. What do you do when you fail an exam, what do you do when you feel alone, what do you do when you are made fun of, what do you do when you are with your friends? I find that it is really hard to get through the day, that is why when you strip away the worldliness we need daily bible readings to get through the day.

I don't want any friends, that I have just for self protection, just to be cool, just to be part of a group, just to have a high friend count
I want friends that I can trust, that I can be comfortable with, mess up and still be friends with. We don't have to agree but be willing to put aside our differences and have fun.

Psalm 2:7-9
Psalm 2

I will declare the decree:
The Lord has said to me,
"Today I have begotten you.
8
Ask of me, and I will give you the nations for you inheritance,
and the ends of the earth for you possession.
9
You shall break them with a rod of iron;
You shall dash them to pieces like a potter's vessel."

Not everything is as it seems
I find sometimes that so many people including myself are so stuck on our own ideas we refuse the truth even when it hits us in the face. I think people take many beliefs or ideas as facts when they are not. The biggest example I can give is a physics exam before Einstein ever knew how mass, energy, and time (the most common of human elements) worked be he stuck a wrench in the system. He completely destroyed the system and built it up again. If we take this to matters of life I believe that we really don't have any clue about how things work and the stuff that is true may only work in our lives but not work in another. The saying goes that don't judge a man till you've walk in his shoes I think that might not even be enough. If we then move this to God shoot we have no hope, and really that is the case until something happened 2000 years ago.
The problem with all this is that there are stupid ideas and smart ones that look really stupid. The only thing that I can do to resolve this is to ask God to open our blind eyes and see the answer.

Quote
"If you've ever known the love of God, you know it's nothing but reckless and it's nothing but raging. Sometimes it hurts to be loved, and if it doesn't hurt it's probably not love, may be infatuation. I think a lot of American people are infatuated with God, but we don't really love Him, and they don't really let Him love them. Being loved by God is one of the most painful things in the world, it's also the only thing that can bring us salvation and it's like everything else that is really wonderful, there's a little bit of pain in it, little bit of hurt." Psalm 143
1 Hear my prayer, O LORD, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness.
2 And enter not into judgment with thy servant: for in thy sight shall no man living be justified.
3 For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; he hath smitten my life down to the ground; he hath made me to dwell in darkness, as those that have been long dead.
4 Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me; my heart within me is desolate.
5 I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the work of thy hands.
6 I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.
7 Hear me speedily, O LORD: my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit.
8 Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.
9 Deliver me, O LORD, from mine enemies: I flee unto thee to hide me.
10 Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.
11 Quicken me, O LORD, for thy name's sake: for thy righteousness' sake bring my soul out of trouble.
12 And of thy mercy cut off mine enemies, and destroy all them that afflict my soul: for I am thy servant.
2 And enter not into judgment with thy servant: for in thy sight shall no man living be justified.

Anger
So having come up with nothing else I decided to write a blog on what God has been teaching me this past little bit.
I had many situations in the past little bit that created allot of frustrations. Allot of times I find my self saying out loud "why don't you just work", then I would thinking about why I am angry and wondering if being angry helps at all. I would find many solutions and the best one came to mind as soon as I let myself get rid of the anger and see things the way they really are.
14 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:
15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;
16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.

Day's of Hard Work
I find that so many times I question why is this happening? Why can't it just work?
You can see it every where that this is how life is. Plans are changed all the time. I guess the question I am trying to ask is why are things like this? How come some days it feels like you have to fight for every step?
Genesis 3:17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. (also Romans 8:22,23)
I guess it is what the serpent said we will be like God. We see the good in storing up food for bad times so we work hard to prepare ourselves. We are part God and part dust, or as Paul puts it Romans 8 spirit and flesh.
So where does this bring us for the original question why. I believe if we weren't part God we wouldn't be able to comprehend such a question and we would never worry about it. If we were all God we wouldn't need to worry about it because we would have everything that we need. So what does God want us to do with this human condition?
Romans 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
I guess the plan is to work hard at it, and to ask God for our every need, because it is impossible by ourselves.
Romans 8:18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

strength of man and the Power Of God
The strength of man is found in the details. As they say the devil is in the details and I guess that can be true in more than one way. How does man make it to the moon and back, by looking at every single angle and possibility. How does someone control a whole country, by looking at the details.
The power of God is found in the impossibilities. How does a hardened criminal really change? How does a political pressure push the English government to provide money to free seven hundred thousand slaves? How does a church grow in the midst of the harsh punishment?
I'm not saying that the strength of man is wrong it is just a very powerful tool that has been given and like anything that is powerful it can be used for great good or great evil, and it turns out that is one of the closest things that we can get to be God with out God so Satan uses every attempt to control it. I do believe if we could get our act together down here we would explore the stars using both our own strength and the power of God, but God has his own plans. I guess the idea is to some how find a way to make the two live in peace. This proves to be the a very hard thing considering if you think about this for a bit it turns out to be Christianities struggle since Constantine gave freedom to Christians. How do we merge church and state?
I guess the only solution I can give you is one you can't put in rule books or tell to someone about where they sit in the power tree. Do as much as you can for God and trust God with the rest. I guess thats it Jesus came to destroy to rule book, because it enslaves people.
Doing the better thing always proves to be an uphill battle by your self because it disobeys all the laws of nature.

Letting Go cont.
I guess today is a good day. Not all the posts were created today I had been working on them for a bit.
I decided to expand this post because it holds something else that I think is important.
Sometimes we want to see the world, do something great, make lots of money, live somewhere else only because there is something missing inside of us, feeling like we need something else. The place itself is not what fills this gap. It is a change of mind, only the all might God of the Universe can really fulfill us.
I pray that everyone including myself in our time, need turn to him for all our needs.
Luke 4:4 "And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by, but by every word of God."

On the Verge of Something New
Stuck in this transition
between two cultures
much to gain
much to lose
How do I transition?
How do I say bye?
What do I keep?
What do I throw away?
Will I ever come back?
Will it ever be the same?
Can't stay here, God calls me on.
Things change, today only has us once.
I rejoice for the opportunity, to experience this again.
I pray experience, will give advice on this transition.
I've learn't so much, about me, about this world.
I look forward, where the hard times are the best times.
I pray I can see it.

Working on Progress
One step from the edge
two steps till victory
Where are you?
Why so hard?
Always right here
Always waiting for our call of help
One missed turn and we're stuck
the open road calls us to our journeys end
Where is the narrow path?
What is the question to our limited answers?
Always calling us on
Always giving us light
Demons calling us on
God calling us forward
Who to listen to?
Where do I go?
Always not as it seems
Always moving on
Wrapped up in imagined significance
Humbled by your awesome power
Why is everything gone?
Why such pain?
Aways yours
Aways your guide
Turning to you
giving you all I got
Need no answers
Need no reasons
Just complete your work in us
Until we reach our journeys end
Thank you.

The Pattern Continues
Well It seems that my life revolves around four month segments, and as this is getting to the third month as usual things are getting busy so I will not be posting as regular as usual or planned. Though I do have one for today.
I was watching a documentary on the prohibition of drugs. I agreed with allot of what they said. We are not getting anywhere with our any drug "jail and fine" policy. All we are doing is making people and dare I say governments lots of money (oh wait is that an act of terrorism, shoot now I can be held in a prison for as long as they want with out trial). Like any war you need a good guy (the police), a bad guy (the drug user) and the guy selling the guns (or drugs).
If your wondering about my terrorism bit, A few weeks back I read an official White House law or what every they call it Act or something and it was pretty scary.
Anyways there is my rant.

Psalms 1
1 Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked,
Nor stand in the way of sinners,
Nor sit in the seat of scoffers;
2 But his delight is in Yahweh’s law;
On his law he meditates day and night.
3 He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also does not wither.
Whatever he does shall prosper.
4 The wicked are not so,
But are like the chaff which the wind drives away.
5 Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment,
Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6 For Yahweh knows the way of the righteous,
But the way of the wicked shall perish.
Nor stand in the way of sinners,
Nor sit in the seat of scoffers;
2 But his delight is in Yahweh’s law;
On his law he meditates day and night.
3 He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water,

Whatever he does shall prosper.
4 The wicked are not so,
But are like the chaff which the wind drives away.
5 Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment,
Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6 For Yahweh knows the way of the righteous,
But the way of the wicked shall perish.

Letting it go
Sometimes you wish you could run, bike, fly, drive (whatever your preference) to forever. You wish you could go until you lose everything that holds you down.
The actual activity is not what fixes the problem. It is not time or energy burnt that drives away our tears. As C.S Lewis states you can not right a sum by continuing, you have to right the wrong.
1 Peter 5:7 casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

Needing to Prove
I find that many people including myself seem to want to prove things to the world. Some want to prove there worth, some want to prove that they are better than others, others want to prove that they are cool... and the list goes on as if life is a competition against every one else that needs to be won. Proving things can be used as a good motivator but has has one down fall that kills the self worth of many. If this is all we hold on to, when (not if) we fail we will fall into depressed state because we can not be what we have tried so hard to be. One of the lies we are told is that you can do anything if your really try. You might respond to say that the person should learn from his failures and try again, but the statement can be proven false by one counter example. Many people in the third world want a better life and try really hard but fall short. So then there is a limit to our abilities and a maximum line of what we can reach as humans.
There is a solution that we all should listen to. We shouldn't do things to prove to the people around us because we can never please people for long and for the most part they are just interested in there own lives anyway but we should do things for the one True God that has done all for us, the one who really cares for us. The response to the the lie is Philippians 4:12 "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."

Deep Space
Here are some pretty amazing picture from the Hubble Space telescope. Pictures
The write up on the picture is located here
These stars and galaxies are billions of years old.
I'm posting this because there was a digg that was bashing Christians for being ignorant because they ignore things that don't fit there world view so I will post it here on my blog.
I'm not going to give you any answers but I'm going to give you some stuff that I've found.
Institute of Creation Research
to include the other side here is a wiki on Creation Science that I think is a good read
I don't like some of the arguments that ICR makes. Some seem to stem back to the first argument that the church made to Darwin (which is as far as I know are "Your wrong because the bible says so"), but they make some points the strongest is that evolution disobeys Newtons Second Law. Think of this, to follow Newtons second law before the big bang there had to be something more ordered and perfect hummmm let me think what could fit that.... Anyways that's just my train of thought. If you want to know what really happened ask someone who was there (lol).
To paraphrase something I heard that just because something is a myth doesn't mean it isn't true. The whole story about God wanting to create a world where there was such a thing as freedom and that people would have a choice. I would argue that God gave us everything and as the story in the bible says we messed things up. (Thanks for the idea Mark Kampen)
If your battling with whether the bible story is fact or not I leave that up to you and God because I can't give you an answer and a doubt anyone really can. If you read closly you actualy see two creation stories Genesis 1:1-2:3 and Genesis 2:4-25. I give you my prayers. For me God has shown himself to me to many times that it is impossible for my to even think that there is no God, unless I close my eye ears and all other senses and twiddle my thumbs (lol that came out funny, idea comes from C.S. Lewis).
Here are some words of advice "We live in a world where it is possible to believe there is no God, but it is impossible not to believe there is" It is like a perfect balance that just points back to the case that there has to be a God to create such a balance.
Long post and lots of links I guess it needed it.

The Work done Together
Each one of us as Christians have been given a small part of God (Romans 12:6). Like a small part of a complete circle. We all see different parts of God If we choose, and believe me there is enough of God. There is a reason why the bible seems to contradict it's self many times, and the disciples complained about the difficulty of understanding Jesus (John 7:12 this verse doesn't fit 100% but it works for me), there is just so much God out there that it is hard to fit into the English language.
Let us take our bit and run with it in a way to win the race. Bringing my human spirit under complete control
Okay that is my paraphrase to read the real stuff look at the original verse 1 Corinthians 9:24 ish
I guess today is a bible verse day.

Why I don't like some of the new trends in churches
It feels like the new churches want to have a Corrie ten Boom faith with out the hardship of the Nazi rule. It feels like they ignore the pain and hardship out of the immediate church (sort of like how entertainment is). It feels like to me that they want to create heaven on earth. This is not the goal of the church at all. Heaven is saved for Heaven and I'm glad that it is there. I'm not saying that there should be no glory ... heaven like points but that is not the point of our life on earth. We should be focusing on following the will of God.

Overkill
I'm reading a book called Overkill: The Rise of Paramilitary Police Raids in America By Radley Balko. It make me angry at what the government is getting away with. It talks about how the SWAT teams are used in the United States. It talks about all the mistakes and people killed by the SWAT teams. How they are used to arrest white collar doctors, how they escalate the situation not deescalate it like police officers should and the list goes on. The book talks allot about how they like to show they have the power and want to scare the "Bad" people away. Radley Balko then goes and states that the lesson of history is the reverse, but we humans seem to like to play war. Hear is a quote "When the soldiers ride in, you should see those blacks scatter." said by an SWAT commander (Parenti, “SWAT Nation,” p. 16). So let us not try to escalate things but bring them down so we can fix the problem and not make it worse.

Fishermen
I've heard it said that "God helps those who help themselves" It took me a while to find the falsie in this. It seems very true to the physical mind but if you look at all the examples giving in the bible it doesn't fit any of them. All of them every single one except Jesus had problems and couldn't do it by them selves. I think this statement should be replaced with the statement "God helps those who cant' help themselves". Who would think a bunch of fishermen would be read about 2000 + years latter.

"Perfect" World
Sometimes we try to create a perfect world out of the imperfect world. For this world to be perfect everything would have to be cold dark and the same (absolute zero). It seems that God didn't want things to be perfect here because things are definitely not the same, not dark and far from -273 degrees Celsius. So let us not always try to make this world perfect and try to learn from the imperfections. C. S. Lewis says something along the lines that as nature reaches towards perfection it does not become more the same but becomes different from each other. He then compares it to good. Here is the actual quote "Good as it ripens, becomes continually more different not only form evil but from other good". This seems to be different then our current society. It wants to make every one the same, eat the same, live the same, .... It seems people are easier to control and make money when everyone is the same.
So God I pray that you will teach us to be different and that we can come together and all share a different part of you.

Can't afford to fill up the tank, to put something together
Things just don't seem to work this week so (and not because of the gas prices), so I'm going to leave you with a verse.
John 6:26
Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly I tell you, you seek me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate of the loaves, and were filled.

Lift your eyes to the mountain from where your help comes from
I was thinking that allot of my previous post may make someone depressed because it is cutting away at everything that we as humans hold on to. I guess what I'm trying to say is that when you take anything other than God an put it as the center or your life it will fall apart but when you but Christ as the center you get everything back in ways you could never imagine.

Change
Life has its many twists and turns but I still see allot of the characteristics of the child hood me in my life. Some of them good some of them I wish I could throw away and have tried many times. It seems as adults we just learn different ways of hidding those things we dislike. I guess it is only God who can really change people because we don't know which way to go. I pray to God that he will change me.

Unoffical Post
Because all authors have exams for the next month there will be a blockade for new official posts. This message was written late because management had to figure out how to let people know with out making an official post. After many days they decided that this unofficial post was the best option.

The tree and the tumble weed
There were a group of trees on the edge of the forest. They were devoted to growing big and strong to withstand the element's of the world. There were old big trees that no one knew how long they had been there. Then one day along came a tumble weed blow out from the plains. The trees all laughed at the tumble weed for being so small and unstable. The tumble weed replied that maybe in the forest the big, strong, and stable survive but in the plains the quick, fast spreading survive.
Watch how we judge because God might be moving in completely different ways in two different people.

This Road Called Life
It seems that in the road we walk in life that there is always two ditches calling out to us to fall in. They are in a sense opposites always calling the other side ignorant. On one side you have the people who don't listen to laws and are very chaotic, the other side is all about rules and "order". The laws will say "At least I'm doing something with my life" and the chaotic side will say "You work so hard for nothing it will all be lost anyway". "Change the world" and the response "The world will not change". Then I imagine a voice coming from further on the road saying "come to me all who are heavy laden and I will give you rest". What these sides say might be true but they are vary dangerous. If these statements are taken as what your life is centered on then you will end up in the ditch. You got to keep heading for the voice and look for something that will give life and not burden you down with despair or rules.

The box we live in
This small world we live on, that we try to conquer, exploit, in realty destroy every day. Is so insignificant when you take the box of our world down. If the earth would disappear the galaxy we live in would not look any different. If our solar system would disappear the galaxy would still look the same just one infinitesimal tiny dot missing. If our galaxy would disappear would the universe notice? We humans try to do great things on this earth. We try to build great towers, travel far distances but in view of the universe they are nothing. We can do nothing that would affect anything but our own little box so why are we always tyring to do great things. This week has about giving up everything and doing the will of God Creator of the universe because nothing else matters. Here is an interesting quote from a book that I like
There were Two Trees in the Garden by Rick Joyner
"The irony is that the Lord wants us to ascend to heaven; He wants us to sit on the mount of the assembly; He wants us to be raised above the heights of the clouds; and He wants us to be like Him (to have His nature). But only He can accomplish this for us (which He has done through His Son). It has been a primary strategy of Satan through the ages to tempt man to grasp for himself what the Lord ultimately intends to give him anyway. The victory of Jesus over Satan was accomplished when He "did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped" (Philippians 2:6), but humbled Himself instead trusting the Father to exalt Him at the proper time."

O wretched man that I am!
Romans 7:19
For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil that I will not to do, that I practice.
Romans 7:24 & 25
O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?
I thank God-through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.
These verses have meant allot to me this week. The good things that I will to do, I do not do. Why are we so weak? I try to give up trying doing things for jealousy, pride, money, my own glory etc. I guess we get used to using these devices to motivate us that we never practice what God intended. Why can't we do God's will because we want to? Oh how I wish I could follow that.

Answers
Where can I found truth? Where are the answers to all our questions? We try to find them but our own prejudices, thoughts , and ideas cloud the answers. Even when we read the bible it is clouded by our own thoughts. My brain is controlled by chemicals and emotions that I have no control over. My body gives up fails and sits and does nothing when there is the world to do. My own brain can convince me of things that I do not believe. Is there anything that I can hold on to? It seems that all I have left is a prayer that through all of this God would touch me and make me into something I'm not. So I will bury all these problems and trust that God will one day turn it into something that I can't imagine, more real, more joyful - something that I need. As someone I know once said (paraphrase) "If God uses these events to turn people to God it was worth ever thing that it cost me."

All this work for nothing
We seem to try so hard as humans to do many things but it always falls apart in our hands. Conquers die on their last battle. The moon hasn't been touched in a long time. Empires fall apart from the inside. Business go bankrupt. Stories and names get forgotten or used without knowing the person. Relief aid that goes to the wrong people. A+ students get nerves breakdowns. Relief aid that doesn't even help but hinder the healing process. We seem to work so hard to do something but it always falls apart. paraphrase from the movie Enemy at the Gate. "We tried to create a world where there would be no wanting of a neighbours stuff but we always will" From the mouth of a communist Russian.
It seems as though we weren't meant to do things for ourselves and by ourselves. What we do for God is the only thing that really matters and he doesn't expect us to do anything by ourselves (because then we might want to take the credit). Why should I even try. The question for me is what am I tyring to do by myself or for myself and leave it behind before I waste to much time on it.
The race is not to the swift,
Nor the battle to the strong,
Nor bread to the wise,
Nor riches to men of understanding,
Nor favor to men of skill;
But time and chance happen to them all.
12 For man also does not know his time:
Like fish taken in a cruel net,
Like birds caught in a snare,
So the sons of men are snared in an evil time,
When it falls suddenly upon them.

Ecclesiastes 9
11 I returned and saw under the sun that—The race is not to the swift,
Nor the battle to the strong,

Nor riches to men of understanding,
Nor favor to men of skill;
But time and chance happen to them all.

The world is lost over pennies
The world is lost over every choice we make. I've been wondering where the things we buy come from. How many things we buy have it's history in slavery(debt or not). The world is driven in saving money. This is good when it is used to make a system more efficient (yet there are many companies in the U.S. that are far from efficient), but there is nothing to stop the use of cheap labour or unethical ways of making money.
The dirty products are every one's fault. Do you buy the fair trade coffee? Do you buy honey instead of sugar? Would you buy the more expensive product if you knew it was made ethically? The companies obviously don't think so. This is why I say the world is lost over pennies, every person saves a few pennies and people die every day.
I'm no exception I still eat sugar, use tissue paper... the list goes on. The purpose of the blog is not to make you feel guilty but to make you aware of the problems and not blindly follow the cheaper product and if God grants us wisdom we might be even able to fix these problems.

Addictions
Images of drugs cigarettes alcohole ... come to mind. Recently I've been wondering about addictions. What am I addicted to? When I was younger I had a friend who didn't know what the word addiction meant and after it was explained to him he said he was addicted to watermelon.
When looking my own life there are some thing that I don't really want but yet they are still there. For the drug addict his circumstances lead him to get his next high. To stop the cycle he has to make major life changes (mental and physical) to fix his addiction, and if we don't help him I doubt that he can ever get out of the cycle. Things I want to give up are; wasting time by watching TV and I want to spend less time doing nothing on the computer. The way that seems to work the best for me is to slowly change my life style to include other things. The easiest way to break free was not to try really hard to break free (that never seems to work in the long run) but to realize that I didn't want it anymore and then through a slow change of mind give it up.
Here's and interesting Quote that goes along with this article. It is from a FAQ off of http://www.humanclock.com/
"You have too much time on your hands! Why did you waste your time on this?
The same could be said for someone sitting though a generic Hollywood action movie or someone mindlessly flipping though TV channels complaining that there is "nothing on". It is just how I choose to spend my free time."

A blog on blogs
This being my first blog and all I think I'm going to write a blog about blogs. Blogs seem to be an interesting thing. People seem to use them for all sorts of reasons. Some write them to impose there views on other and others seem to write them to get frustration out. There seem to be others how do it to be popular. I am not certain about my reasons for writing a blog but I'm sure I won't be able to peg it to any one thing. I'll try not to make this blog to centered on one thing or another like me this blog will probable take a very odd road.
Back to the topic about blogs this is my problem about with blogs, they all seem to say the same sort of things. There are the anti corporate blogs, anti government blogs, save the trees blogs, religious and so on they go. I guess they are popular topics of today all giving the same messages and themes, but there comes a point when we don't really need any more of those (except in nonsequitur comics). I will probably cover most if not all of these topics but I will try not to talk about any one topic to be popular or force my ideas on any one else. (I like how I contradicted myself saying we don't need any of those blogs but then saying I'm going to write about them. lol)
So here is my blog about blogs hope you enjoyed it. I pray that God will bless you in the following day.
