This small world we live on, that we try to conquer, exploit, in realty destroy every day. Is so insignificant when you take the box of our world down. If the earth would disappear the galaxy we live in would not look any different. If our solar system would disappear the galaxy would still look the same just one infinitesimal tiny dot missing. If our galaxy would disappear would the universe notice? We humans try to do great things on this earth. We try to build great towers, travel far distances but in view of the universe they are nothing. We can do nothing that would affect anything but our own little box so why are we always tyring to do great things. This week has about giving up everything and doing the will of God Creator of the universe because nothing else matters. Here is an interesting quote from a book that I like
There were Two Trees in the Garden by Rick Joyner
"The irony is that the Lord wants us to ascend to heaven; He wants us to sit on the mount of the assembly; He wants us to be raised above the heights of the clouds; and He wants us to be like Him (to have His nature). But only He can accomplish this for us (which He has done through His Son). It has been a primary strategy of Satan through the ages to tempt man to grasp for himself what the Lord ultimately intends to give him anyway. The victory of Jesus over Satan was accomplished when He "did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped" (Philippians 2:6), but humbled Himself instead trusting the Father to exalt Him at the proper time."
