What is truth?
Why do we play games?
Where is your light?
Where is your help in the midst of this?
I'm sure I'm crazy
Why do I see things differently?
Where is your guiding?
Oh God I am so insignificant in you vast universe.
I am a sinner
You are so holy
I feel you so near
I feel you guiding
I feel your presence, I pray other will too!
I pray you break this gridlock
I pray you free us from our chains
I pray you share you love far and wide
I pray you change our hearts
I pray we will see our dependence on you!
New International Version (NIV)
John 8
12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
Matthew 11
28“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Proverbs 3:5-6
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.

?
What stands between believers and non-believers?
What holds us back from praising and following our creator?
Where does the world lie?
What grief must God feel to see a lost creation?
Where do I fit in?
How can I possibly follow you God?
How can we possibly get along?
How can we make this humanity work?
What wonders you do amongst us?
What healing powers do you unleash each day?
How many sins are forgiven?
Why are we so focused on ourselves?
How can I see my own selfishness yet unable to change?
Where do we fit in your grand plan?
Why did you even bother to create us?
What plan do you have after death?
What wonders are in store?
My heart tugs at the unknown
My heart longs for the infinite
My heart needs you God
But I am so unworthy
God help me live for you
God help me strive for you
God help me give everything to you
God help me give even my own flaws to you
God work in our hearts
God lead us to your green pastures
God help us depend on you

God the Powerfull
Going over the Christmas story we find that God provides in so many was.
We find Mary having to make a long journey being very pregnant. We find the baby being born in an unsantary enviroment in a time when birth fiatalities were high. We find a cural king ready to kill all the babies in a town.
Through all this and many more things we find God does provide. He is there for the people who trust him and are doing his will. It may not be in big measures all the time. But it is through the many small things that God works through at a alarming rate.
God help us to trust you!
God help us to understand your way!
God help us hear from you!
God speak to us
God live through us!

The Weight of Glory
"There are no ordinary people. You have never talked to a mere mortal. Nations, cultures, arts, civilizations - these are mortal, and their life is to ours as the life of a gnat. But it is immortals whom we joke with, work with, marry, snub, and exploit - immortal horrors or everlasting splendors" C. S. Lewis The weight of Glory
"In some sense, as dark to the intellect as it is unendurable to the feelings, we can be both banished from the presence of Him who is present everywhere and erased from the knowledge of Him who knows all. We can be left utterly and absolutely outside - repelled, exiled, estranged, finally and unspeakably ignored. On the other had, we can be called in, welcomed, received, acknowledged. We walk every day on the razor edge between these two incredible possibilities" C. S. Lewis The weight of Glory
"21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’" NIV Matthew 7

Musings
I believe God is in the constant process of changing us. Constantly trying to get us to give up the stuff we cling to and give it back to him. Whether it is money, family, success, history.
The very limits of our capacity to remember, to store stuff is proof enough to me that these things will disappear and should never be an end to themselves. God is the beginning and the end. He is the one worth knowing and then the rest falls into place.
Someone once asked me what they should do (ie. planning for the future). I asked if they had asked God. They said yes and didn't get an answer. So after they changed where they were going in life. I believe for the better.
I have come across this as well. How do you make choices where God doesn't give a clear answer? I believe we have to try to make the best choice we can given the circumstance but I believe we should give it to God first.
C.S. Lewis talks about that our very "demanding" for an answer is maybe what keeps God us from hearing God. Maybe we need to learn to listen better, but I believe if we trust God, he is there changing our future for the better even if we can't hear him.
God bless you,

God speak to us,
God I love you

Positive/Negative
Sorry I have been distracted lately hence my not posting anything recently. Here is a quote from books I have read recently.
"If you asked twenty good men today what they thought the highest of the virtues, nineteen of them would reply, Unselfishness. But if you had asked almost any of the great Christians of old, he would have replied, Love. You see what has happened? A negative term has been substituted for a positive, and this is of more than philological importance" C.S Lewis "The Weight of Glory"
God Teach us to love
God lead us
God bless us
God lead us closer to you!

God make everything new!!
"The Enthroned continued, "Look! I'm making everything new. Write it all down - each word dependable and accurate." Revelations 21:5
A reminder that God makes all things new. He changes us, and we are reborn. We start seeing things from his side.
God makes everything new!!!
God lead us closer to you
God make us new
God bless us

And Another Quote
“The terrible thing is that a perfectly good God is in this matter hardly less formidable than a Cosmic Sadist. The more we believe that God hurts only to heal, the less we can believe that there is any use in begging for tenderness. A cruel man might be bribed – might grow tired of his vile sport – might have a temporary fit of mercy, as alcoholics have fits of sobriety. But suppose that what you are up against is a surgeon whose intentions are wholly good. The kinder and more conscientious he is, the more inexorably he will go on cutting. If he yielded to your entreaties, if he stopped before the operation was complete, all the pain up to that point would have been useless. But is it credible that such extremities of torture should be necessary for us? Well, take your choice. The tortures occur. If they are unnecessary, then there is no God or a bad one. If there is a good God, then these tortures are necessary. For no even moderately good Being could possibly inflict or permit them if they weren’t. Either way, we’re for it.”

God help us obey

Thoughts
Maybe our problem why our projects go over budget, and delayed is not because we lack smart people but because we lack respect and listening.
That's my hypothesis anyways.
"The mood is no evidence. Of course the cat will growl and spit at the operator and bite him if she can. But the real question is whether he is a vet or a vivisector. Her bad language throws no light on it one way or the other." C.S. Lewis A Grief Observed
Anyways hope you are having a good week.
God bless us
God lead us closer to you
God change our lives
God let us feel your presence!

One more quote
"When we are praying about the result, say of a battle or a medical consultation the thought will often cross our minds that (if only we know it ) the event is already decided one way or the other. I believe this to be no good reason for ceasing our prayers. The event certainly has been decided - in a sense it was decided 'before all worlds'. But one of the things taken into account in deciding it, and therefore one of the things that really cause it to happen, may be this very prayer that we are now offering" C.S. Lewis Miracles
