I know we should not base our faith in God on others. It's tough to do though, and I wonder how many times I base my faith in God on others.


The truth is that we all fail and we can't let our faith fail with other people. I believe it should be based on something more concrete.


God help us to trust in you
God help us to listen to you
God help us to hear you
God lead us
God bless us

This week in church we discussed something interesting that I would like to pass on. I think it originally came from PRAYERS TO STRENGTHEN YOUR INNER MAN by Mike Bickle The acronym ARK


A- Agreement
R- Revelation
K- Keep the Prophecy


It is a tool that we can use to read through God's promises through scripture.
First read through the promise and tell God you agree with it (A). Next ask God for a revelation of the promise to you (R). Lastly ask good to help us keep our side of the promise (K).


I think this is important and will try to do it more.


God help us to come in agreement with your promises
God revel to us your promises
God help us keep you word

Now some might say this is heresy

Does explaining the way life could have been formed exclude God from the picture?
Does Darwin's theory of exclude God?

I believe they don't.

Is proposing how God could have completed creation or postulating some of the tools that God uses exclude God?

I believe they don't.

I believe the opposite. I believe that we should try to understand God, understand how he does things, understand who he is.

^{John 17:3} “And what is eternal life? It is knowing you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

I think there will always be, and has been people trying to explain away God 

I believe our faith should be based on and fought over things deeper than the creation of the world, and creation of life. I wonder if it really is.

God lead us to your river of life
God show us your misteries
God lead us to your truth
God speak to us
God show us how real you are
God help us love you
God help us develop a stronger relationship with you

I'm thinking of doing a series on what we should base our faith on. It will be a learning expierience for me.
